Today was a LAZY DAY in the Hotel. It is International Women's Day observed (as the holiday was really yesterday-Sunday) so nothing is open today.
Meredith was up at 6, Mike let me sleep in with Danielle and she got up at 6:45.
We tried to get them to nap this afternoon but they had already slept about 45 minutes in the stroller during our morning walk.
For the rest of the day we played with them all over the hotel. We walked them in the lobby during lunch, walked around our floor tons and played on the sofas on our floor as well. Mike played the piano for them. We then moved to the executive lounge for a change of scenery. It was cold and snowing today. When we went out this morning we bundled the girls up and put on the visor and plastic rain covering on the stroller. We did not want to take them outside again today because we do not want them to get a cold or get sick before we fly home. We are so cooped up in this hotel. We had a nice relaxing bedtime routine this evening. Bath time, massage, and quiet time. The girls were in the cribs by 6:45 and asleep within 15 minutes. Mike and I had a quiet dinner of room service in our sitting room and his parents left us tonight. We plan on getting into be early. Last night we didn’t go to sleep until after 11 pm. Of course, Mike seems to get a nice nap in each afternoon but for some reason I do not! Actually, I am not a huge napper anyway and would rather play on the computer during down time. So, It is my own fault. Tomorrow is our exit interview at the American Embassy. Almost home…
